The Epichem OHD team is very pleased to announce that we have secured a recycling pilot with Shell Australia to help reduce plastic waste from its operations and supply chains. This couldn't come at a better time with it being Plastic Free July.
Thank you to NERA - National Energy Resources Australia for connecting WA based innovators like Epichem to larger industry operators such as Shell through programs like GeneratER.
Epichem will help Shell by using a technology (OHD - Oxidative Hydrothermal Dissolution) that liquefies plastic, changing its chemical structure to make it biodegradable or able to be repurposed into another end-product.
